If we replace HDD with SSD, then OS needs to be installed again right? Or the OS from HDD can be transferred to new SSD? Just asking how it works if we have got Windows OS with Laptop and now with new SSD, do we need to install new completely? Thanks.

Great video I personally would've removed the battery before getting inside the laptop but otherwise good job! By the way what what classical piece did you use for the background music? I've heard it but the name is escaping me right now.

I am also using inspiron 5559. Can I buy Transcend ssd220s 480GB for it? Is it the same with SanDisk ssd you showed? And the same procedure right?

How did you get a samsung hdd inside? Every model has a toshiba mq01abd100 model.. It is very slow.

I have a Dell 5559 too and I have a cloned Kingston, I followed your steps but it turned to a blue screen and said the hardware not connected or not accessible…
Did I miss anything? Thanks a lot! 🙏🏻

I just need to know that, you have just replaced your hard disk with the ssd. Is it possible

Nice guide. I have same laptop with Windows 10(not ubuntu). Using it from 1+ year and today it started showing that Hard Disk failed. Bad luck, the warranty is ended. Which hard disk model should I buy? Can you prefer one? I am not willing to buy SSD for now.
