Really it looks better in free roam on remaster but on the cut scenes it looks worse

a fun fact is the original is way better than the remastered and i don't know why this showed on recommended
They used the same polycount for the character model, and decided to smooth all of them out then call it all done
Bad temastered the original is better watrer reflections, shadow,water and details
So when Ubi means remaster they really me down grade?

Original looks better. The remaster looks like a nicer color grading, but loss of detail for everything else.
AC3 Remastered: Better use of anti-aliasing, slightly upscaled textures and give everyone whiter skin (concluding from this video). Nothing monumental, but hey at least I just got it for free now that I bought Odyssey

I wanted to play the PS4 version and was expecting a Remaster not a demaster!
I watched this video on a zoom to fill screen meaning you can't see the writing down at the bottom and was sure the one on the left was the Remasterd I was shocked when I zoomed out 😵🤨
Wtf the Remasterd looks like somebody just popped the brightness to max and call it a day.
I don't care the upcoming Assassin's Creed games unless they go to Japan,Korea and China. But Remastered the Best game right here. is so COOL!
Go for the original if you want your cutscenes to look good, and go for remastered if you want the gameplay to look good.
